
Broccoli pasta bake
Serves 4
Ingredients
300g pasta
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
150g cheese - mixed, e.g.cheddar and gruyere
400ml creme fraiche
1 bunch spring onions, finely chopped
handful of peas
Dijon mustard
handful of breadcrumbs
50g parmesan, grated
Spaghetti
Method
1. Put the pasta in a large pan and put it on the heat.
2. Five minutes before it's ready, throw in the broccoli.
3. While that's cooking, stir the grated cheddar, frozen peas and spring onions into the creme fraiche.
4. Preheat the oven to gas mark 4. When the pasta and broccoli are cooked, drain them and stir into the creme fraiche sauce.
5. Place in a large baking dish. Scatter the breadcrumbs over the top and then the parmesan. Cook for 20 minutes.
